 Vehicle Description
Frame off restored in 1997, went on to win best 4x4 at local car show. This is a k10 Model painted in the original paint scheme with the Supercheyenne molding package. Fuel tank has been removed from behind the seat and relocated between the frame behind the back bumper, using a Blazer gas door for fill ups. Behind the seat is now a storage shelf. The fiber board glove box has been replaced with a custom metal glove box. All interior wood trim molding has been upgraded for a richer look, the upholstery is done in a charcoal black which includes the door panels as well as the roof. Gauges include transmission temp. The 350 custom motor has been outfitted with a Comp cam that comes in around 1700 rpm, fitted with a edelbrock torker mainifold; Q-jet 4-barrel Carb, Doug Thorley headers with duel exhaust. Very drivable. The Suspension has all been redone using Skyjacker springs and shocks. The transmission is a rebuilt turbo 350, hooked up to a 205 transfer case, Both front and rear axles have been rebult using 375 ratio. Keep in mind the 71-72 trucks are identical except for the interior mirror is glued to the windshield in the 72. This truck is a real crowd pleaser and is sure to get a lot of positive comments, I truly have not driven anywhere without someone complimenting this truck.
