| Vehicle Description |
This is a custom 1954 Ford F100 pickup. I purchased it in San Diego over two years ago. When I showed it to the family, everyone hated it so it has sat in my shop since then. I start it and run it around the block every few weeks. I now want the shop space back so I'm offering it for sale.
Here's some of the highlights:
- 283 Chevrolet V8
- Muncie M22 4 speed (aka Rock Crusher)
- Chopped top
- Tilt front end
- Power steering
- Manual brakes
- Shaved door handles
- French taillights
- Louvered tailgates
- Wood and stainless bed
- Custom interior
- Clear, normal Colorado title
There are a few things that need some attention. Since my spare time is very limited and no one wants to ride around with me, the "to do" list hasn't changed much in the past year. Here's my current list:
- Side windows need replacing
- Door handles need replacing (I have the hardware and it goes with the truck)
- Battery holddown needs replacing
- Tune for altitude (The carb is still setup for sea level)
I'm sure there's more. I haven't driven it enough to find them. It's a perfect hot rod for someone to enjoy during the weekend and work on the small stuff during the week.
The previous owner had over $23K invested. I purchased it for $21,500 and put about $1000 in shipping, licensing, and some parts. The price is $21,500 and it is firm.
