| Erics Muscle Cars is proud to offer this 2004 Craftsman Truck Series Chevrolet Silverado, completely restored condition,Motor is a true 350 chevy bowtie 4-bolt main block, standard bore, decked, lined, honed and blueprinted. Eagle lightweight crankshaft 4340 with a 3 1/2 inch stroke, Eagle H-beam rods with ARP 2-19 bolts, Manley flat top pistons with deep valve release, Hastings rings (1/16,1/16,3/16), ARP studs on mains, King rod, main and cam bearings, Custom ground Comp Cams camshaft, road course grind with 4-7-2-3 swap, comp roller lifters, comp chrome moly pushrods, JEGS 23 degree Aluminum cylinder heads(Copy of Brodex 10X) 867 heads, 2.125 intake valves, 1.65 exhaust valves, comp roller valve springs, off-set roller rockers with stud girdle, Cloy's timing chain and gear, Cloy's billet timing cover, ATI harmonic balancer, Edelbrock Victor Sr intake mainfold, Stef's stainless steel road race oil pan, Weiss six-stage dry sump pump, Jones gilmer drive belt system, MSD dual pickup NASCAR distributor, stainless steel step headers (1 3/4, 1 7/8, 2) with burns collectors, Edelbrock Victor NASCAR water pump and Baswell 390 CFM NASCAR carb. Motor is 11.5 to 1 painted in the 1995 #3 Goodwrench Service colors run by Mike Skinner for RCR. Truck has a correct period, brand new 358 cubic Inch Chevrolet dry sump motor with over 700 hp. Big Pontiac heads, stainless steel headers from Hendrick Motorsports, boom exhaust which dumps out the passenger side, Ford 9 inch rear with rear end pump, 6.0 rear gear, short track Brembo brakes all the way around, rear truck arms, new Goodyear Wrangler tires, double down truck which means it can be raced either circle track or road course. Set up now for road course racing. Chevrolet Super T-10 4-speed transmission with standard clutch and standard shocks as it is currently used only for display and show. Truck has a Fluidyne aluminum radiator with built in oil cooler and a separate oil cooler for the sprayers in the valve covers for the valve train. Dual ignition boxes with dual coils that can be switched should one go bad. New battery located in a compartment in front of the drivers side rear wheel but has a built in tow truck type connection in the driver cab to charge the battery. All lines and hoses are braided steel lines, oil tank is located behind the drivers compartment and is equipped with oil warmers and a temperature gauge on the rear deck. Plug into a standard 110 volt outlet for warming the oil to operating temperature prior to engine start. Truck has roof flaps and cowl flaps and two fire bottles (5lb and 10lb which feed the driver compartment and fuel cell compartment as mandated by NASCAR. Truck has a 22 gallon fuel cell and runs on Sunoco Race Fuel only. Truck is equipped with all gauges, tachometer and switch panel for brake cooler fans and oil tank cooling fan. Upper radiator hose is made of Kevlar. Has all mandated tethers on the hood, rear deck lid, and front wheel spindles. Comes with all radio hookups to include antenna, helmet connection and radio connection but not the radios. Has a brake adjuster on the dashboard for adjusting the brakes for handling purposes. Full containment seat with halo and five point harness. Carbon Fiber air box. Truck has over $60K just in parts and a brand new 2004 Chevrolet Silverado body. These trucks cost over $100K to build. This particular truck was build by Joe Gibbs Racing and is an LRP chassis named Jonny 5. Truck was run last in the Craftsman Truck Series by Denny Hamlin for four races in 2004. Truck has never been wrecked or had the front or rear clips replaced. Underside is just as perfect as the top side. Truck was purchased from EJP Racing in Maine which was a driver development team for JGR, hence Denny Hamlin started NASCAR in this truck in the Craftsman Truck Series. Motor was built by Dave Planakis who races in the Vintage racing series and is a crew chief on an ARCA Series Team. He personally built the motor and installed the drive train. He is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia and can be made available to answer any questions relating to the motor in this truck. Truck has only been used for show and display purposes since being restored in December 2008. You would only need to install racing shocks and a racing clutch to be on the track. Truck is race ready at this time and is in perfect condition. Truck comes with a waterproof cover and two firesuits, one three layer driver suit in GM Goodwrench colors and one two layer two-piece pit crew firesuit both from Kevin Harvick Racing from their Craftsman Truck Series Team. I also have the front sway bar and a spare set of Goodyear Eagle tires mounted on Aero rims that come with the truck. Also available at extra cost is a 2008 24 foot Leonard car trailer with built in 3500 lb winch and cabinets that is decaled to match the truck. |
