1956 Ford F100 This truck is built to drive not to show. This truck sits a on a 1993 Chevy S10 frame where it retained its 4.3 v6 The new dual exhaust system sports new mustang gt mufflers NO CATS! The truck sounds really good. The 4L60 transmission was rebuilt six months ago. The 4x8 plywood bed is covered with a Tonaue Sport cover. The front power disc brakes have just been rebuilt. The truck retains the s10 power steering with tilt wheel. All new shocks were installed a couple of months ago. The interior is all new as well. Vintage Air keeps you cool in the summer and hot in the winter. Yes there are some rattles and air leaks going down the interstate at 70 mph However I installed a Pioneer CD Radio with all the extra hookups to help with that. This truck rides good, drives good, sounds and looks good! Many times on these lowered trucks you will see the owner choose not to spend the extra time and money to get the correct bumpers reinstalled. Thus giving you absolutely no first line of defense if your truck gets tapped from one direction or the other. That was not the case with this truck. The interior sports a custom upholstered bench seat with matching stereo console. A Dakota Digital Dash supplies all of the trucks vitals while going down the road. This includes the digital gear selection read out, which was an extra. Brand new custom wheels and tires. Vintage Air Conditioning and Heat New 2 inch dual exhaust Tilt steering with brand new _____steering wheel Billet shift lever and knob New Battery New Carpet, head liner, all new door handles, knobs etc inside the truck. Custom console for the stereo with small storage area. Custom upholstered bench seat to match interior. Dakota Digital instrument panel New running boards with correct polished step-up. All of the chrome badges are in really good shape. New Halogen head light bulbs. New front and rear bumpers Rust, the only rust on this truck is on the gas tank cross member under the bed. The sheet metal strip under the rear frame of the bed had some rust but that was stopped. Truck Features: This truck is not perfect, nor is it priced like a perfectly restored truck. At 12,800 its far from the perfectly restored truck prices! These trucks are fun to drive, fun to work on and there will always be something to putz with while owning one.
