If we could find a steady stream of straight, rust-free Early Broncos, we'd deal in those exclusively here at Motorcar Studio. Unfortunately, nice examples are getting harder and harder to come by. It's no wonder they've become so popular -- the Early Bronco combines classic styling and rugged good looks with everyday usability.
Ford manufactured these trucks from 1966 to 1977, and by the end of their run it was more common to find them with power disc brakes, power steering and an automatic transmission -- making them very easy to drive. This 1977 Bronco has all those options plus a smooth-running 302 cubic inch V8 for plenty of power and torque. The final years of production also came with factory electronic ignition -- a huge upgrade in terms of both driveability and reliability.
This truck has just received a thorough mechanical and cosmetic freshening, with a brand new carpet kit and new front seat upholstery. We've also rebuilt the carburetor, and she's running great.
This EB is wearing a striking shade of red -- Ford Toreador Red Metallic to be exact. With the sport package chrome trim down the sides, chrome bumpers and headlight trim, and newer chrome wheels, it's definitely a head-turner while still being tastefully done. A white top, fender flares and rocker panels complete the package. Floor pans, inner fenders and other common trouble spots are rust-free and completely solid.
In the dash is a modern AM/FM/CD player with an aux input for your iPod or iPhone. And modern speakers are installed underneath the rear seat.
1977 was the final year -- many would say the best year -- of the early Bronco. Give us a call at 404-692-5250 for more information about this one.
