I bought her new and finished out the bare metal interior (from the front seats back) during the summer of '76, thinking I'd never sell. That summer I installed a half-inch exterior plywood floor, rubber bubble carpet pad, and the carpet which also covers the lower part of the "wall" to protect the paneling from scratches. The walls are fully insulated and I installed alcove/niches with cupholders, along with a reading light and multiple stereo speakers which have recently been renewed. Seating back then consisted of three bean bags in the rear along with the front two high back seats (upholstery on the seats renewed a while back)
Until 1998, she was my daily driver and until 2010, she was driven regularly. Over the years modifications were made to keep her legal, to keep the air conditioning working, and to upgrade the aftermarket radio, but all the original parts, including door panels will be included for anyone wanting to pull off a complete restoration.
As always she starts easily, runs strongly and is one of a very few left in North America. You'll have all the eyes at the next antique car show with "my girl."
