Combination of C750 and C550. 391 4v truck motor, 5-speed transmission and power-assisted steering from C750 on C550 suspension, axles and rear end. Cab is virtually rust free and along with engine, transmission and front part of frame are from fire truck with less than 18,000 miles on odometer. Back part of frame and all suspension, axles and rear end are from C550 donor truck. The C550 parts are what make the truck sit low and make it unique. C550 trucks are very rare and difficult to find. Wheels are modern one-piece from a motor home with the Ford 5-lug pattern. Gas tank and tool box are added custom features. Tool box is mounted on 600 series gas tank brackets which are very strong. Bed was shortened to match the shortened truck frame. Hitch is very heavy duty and made by a commercial welder.
