The truck was originally used at a telephone company in Pennsylvania. The telephone company sold it to a couple for their personal use. They actually used it to haul dirt and gravel for a garage they were building. It was then sold to an antique car collector in New York. Randolph Telephone purchased the truck from him sometime around 2000. The truck was completely disassembled and built from the frame up.
The engine was rebuilt for the truck and had the mechanical brakes replaced with hydraulic brakes.
