This three-year project was completed by Boyd Custom Street Rods in January 2012. The builder, Jeff Mayhue, has been building custom street rods for over forty years and many believe this is one of his best projects. We maintained a Harley Davidson theme using a two-tone custom HD paint; light and dark candy root beer, along with various parts displaying the HD logo and designs. The frame was modified to accommodate the short block GM 350 engine, 700R transmission, GM rear end, Mustang Two front suspension, and dual exhaust. Since the completion of our F1 we have entered the truck in many competitions winning countless awards. In December 2012 & 2013 we were invited to participate in the 2012 DFW classic auto competition at the Fort Worth Convention Center. This event was held in conjunction with the DFW new car show and sponsored by Memory Lane Car Show. Our 49 F1 was voted Best in Class in 2012 and Best in Show in Class in 2013.

The 4 x 6 enclosed trailer was added in 2015 and painted to match the truck. This trailer is used to carry equipment to the car shows.
