| Vehicle Description |
| MotoeXotica is offering this great running classic Model T. This 1924 Ford Model T Stake Bed truck is a great driving classic that is ready for your local parade or just to go out and have tons of fun with. The truck starts right up every time and runs out great. All the wood in the bed looks great and shows no signs of rot anywhere. The steel fenders are in very good condition with some dings and scratches but overall they look great. The paint on the truck looks older but is very presentable, it does have some small chips that have some minor surface rust. The black metal grill is in great condition with a few small dings and some very minor rust. All of the glass looks great with no cracks or scratches. The windows go up and down smoothly. The windshield tilts out. The pedals do need some getting used to because if you have never driven one of these cars you will need to go through the "Learning to drive the Model T 101" course. There are three pedals: one for the brakes and two controlling the transmission. The transmission is sort of a semiautomatic that Henry Ford thought would be easier to operate then a manual gearbox for all of those first time drivers. The left most pedal controls the gears. Low is all the way in; neutral is about halfway out and all the way out is high gear. The center pedal engages reverse while the left pedal is in neutral and the right pedal is the brake. The throttle is controlled with a lever behind the steering wheel while your left hand steers. Easy enough?? Class dismissed! The all black interior looks great. The black vinyl seats are in very good shape with no rips or tears. There is an amp gauge that works fine inside. The painted metal dash and door panels are all in great shape. The vinyl top is in great condition with no holes and it is being supported by newer wood slats. The light switch is working with no problems as are the headlights and tail light. The inline 4 cylinder motor runs great. This is an electric start truck and is on a 6 volt system. The brakes work well and the transmission performs as it should. The wood wheels are in great condition and are wrapped with 6 ply tires that are in good overall condition with some dry rot and cracking. In the bed and included are 3 wood barrels that add a nice touch to the truck. The VIN is 7203343 and this truck is being sold on a clear Alaska title. This pre war truck runs fantastic and is a ton of fun to drive. GET OUT AND DRIVE! |
