 Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevy C10 is one of those cool trucks that has a great look, an impressive restoration and is so well sorted youll love driving it everywhere doing every kind of errand you can think of. Boasting show-quality paint, a fresh crate 350 and a beautifully refinished bed, this is one of those vehicles that can be all things to everyone. The paint is similar to Corvette Laser Red, with a deep, rich metallic shine that gives the vintage sheetmetal cab a 21st century look. Its the kind of color that total strangers will ask you about at the gas station, and that youll want to show off every chance you get. The bodywork was expertly rendered, gaps are certainly better than what you would have found new, and all the chrome and stainless work is top-notch. The paint was clearly applied by the experts and wet-sanded and buffed to a beautiful finish. Make no mistake - although this truck was built to be driven, you could proudly show it a just about any event out there and be in the top of the pack. A hard shell tonneau cover creates a large, weather-tight storage compartment, and in a throwback to the 40s, it sports a lovely natural oak floor. A smooth rear roll pan gives the rear end a modern, clean look, while the classic stainless grille up front certainly needs no help. At first glance, the interior looks like a full custom, with neat tan tweed fabric and a light-colored wrapped steering wheel, but closer examination reveals a special blend of originally and well-chosen upgrades. The bench seat is the original piece, and the steering wheel has been wrapped in tan leather for additional driver comfort. Tan carpets and custom door panels tie it all together, while all the metal pieces have been painted to match the exterior, providing contrast. Those are original gauges, and they look so crisp and clear youd swear they were freshly restored, while the A/C has been neatly stashed under the dash where its both effective and out-of-sight. An AM/FM/CD stereo has been fitted in the center of the main stack, just above the climate controls. Its all pretty neat, dont you think? Power comes from a tried-and-true 350 cubic inch Chevy crate motor, which is entirely appropriate in this generation-spanning pickup truck. Typical chrome dress-up items give it a look thats neither modern nor dated, but you wont be ashamed to open the hood at the local cruise night. The firewall and inner fenders are as nicely finished as the bodywork, providing a nice backdrop for the muscular V8. Its backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic and a 12-bolt, so the hardware is rugged enough to still work as a truck. Flowmaster mufflers, lowering springs, and newer shocks give it a hot-rod look and sound. Chrome wheels are a well-chosen upgrade from the factory steel, and they look perfect wearing fat 255/70/15 tires. It sits right, looks low, and drives extremely well. No matter what youre looking for in Chevy truck, this one will probably talk to you. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
