Man, you will fall in love with this one to be sure. This great truck is an older restoration but has been very well cared for and it shows.
It is arrow straight thru-out and of course 100% steel. Its grill is extremely nice, most unusual for a truck and it sports both front and rear chrome bumpers, outside rearview mirror and drivers wiper, right hand mounted spare with tire cover and correct radiator cap.
Inside the seat is covered in correctly grained black material and the door panels also done properly. Its original gauges are very nice, the steering column mounted lite switch works as does its locking steering wheel, and yes it is equipped with the Banjo type wheel!
Updates include ‘40 type hydraulic brakes and drums, 5 on 51/2 red steel wheels with ‘41 car hubcaps as well as Big n’ Little radial tires. For those old style “heating” problems, they’ve been cured with a Griffin aluminum radiator. The flathead V8 is also updated with a great running 59AB engine. We turned heads with this one while attending this years American Truck Historical Society’s Intermountain West Truck Show on Father’s day weekend too. Drive it, show it or just have fun. You deserve it! |
