| Vehicle Description |
This truck is worth over $25k the way it is built and set up, but i am letting it go for much less! I am sellin my 66 Chevy C-10. I like the GMC grill better, so i put a chrome GMC grill and a GMC tailgate on it. This is a short bed (swb) fleetside. The truck has a 396 Big Block that was from a 1968 Chevelle and it has been bored and built. It has over 400 horsepower which gives this PLENTY OF POWER! Around 30k miles since rebuilt. It runs on regular 87 octane gas. It has never run hot. If you want to burn the tires, you sure can! The engine has a polished aluminum intake manifold and M/T aluminum valve covers. It has Hooker Ceramic headers and an AWESOME EXHAUST! If you want to drive with all the exhaust on you can. But you can also press the toggle switch which will electronically open a shut-out at the end of the header, meaning you can drive with straight headers and absolutely rumble the ground! The exhaust system was about $1200 without installation and the ceramic headers about $900. It is as easy as pushing the button that is on the dash to change back and forth from the straight headers to the full exhaust. Hooked up to the big block power plant is a newly rebuilt 700r4 automatic transmission. Having this transmission with overdrive saves some serious gas! When i am easy on the pedal I can get around 17 or even more miles per galon. To control this beast easily i have power steering and power disc brakes. The truck is all 5 lug now. It has also been lowered 3 inches in the front and about 4 inches in the rear and was done right so it rides smooth. This has the heavier duty leaf springs instead of coils so it will handle the power. It also has a rearend that is geared better so it does not whine out at higher speeds. It has about a 6 month old DuPont paint job that is beautiful. The interior has a custom upholstered seat and red carpet. It also has carpet lower door panels. It has 15" American Racing 200S polished aluminum wheels with almost new Yokohama 275/60r15 tires on the rear that have about 3000 miles on them. It also has newer style brighter headlights. I even added 2-speed windshield wipers. I just put on brand new polished body side molding. The bed has a spray in bed liner and aluminum bed rails. Guages work. It has a radio that works well and i have a added a speaker and in the picture there is no arm rest on the passenger side, but it nbow has new arm rests on both sides. In Gerorgia antique vehicles don't require titles, so the buyer will get a profissional Bill of sale. It is registered and insured so a copy of registration can also be given to you. I drive this truck daily and dont have any problems with it. It is a dream to drive! It handles great, rides smooth, and has loads of power! THIS TRUCK GETS TONS OF ATTENTION!
