DESCRIPTION
1940 Ford 1/2 ton pick up truck. Original and uncut with no rust. 100 hp V-8 converted to 12 volt, Motor strong and truck runs well and is driven and registered. Dash gauges replaced with modern but I kept original gauges. Old Ford heater/defrosted cooks you out in the winter. Problems: radiator drips from top seal when hot. Water pump dried out (?) and drips also. Truck runs well at 50 mph on LIE and has never run hot, ever. Rear passenger frame at top of wheel well was welded by lumber mill owner I bought truck from 20 years ago. Solid but it is what it is. The truck had had an enormous amount of work done over the years I owned it. I will post a picture as part of this ad and also supply a full shutterfly web site for many, many pictures.
