DESCRIPTION:
A unique innovation for 1937 was a new 2-piece split-vee windshield. It gave better visibility and made the trucks cozy cabin seem a little roomier. This 1937 Ford Model 73 half-ton pickup is typical of the utilitarian nature of that line. The truck features straight sheet metal all around, with Medium Green paint on the cab, bed, and fenders. Running boards are finished in black, and the wheels are chrome. Its full-bore 221/85 HP flathead A engine resides in a fully restored engine compartment finished as it would have appeared in 1937, including a downdraft Stromberg 97 carb with oil bath air cleaner. The Fords interior has been restored with the correct material for the seats and floor mats and is typical of the vintage, employing operating gauges and a 100 MPH speedometer in a twin-gauge instrument panel. A few period correct items have been installed like dual mirrors, blinkers, and rearview mirror with clock etc.

Overall an extremely nice example of a 37 Ford pickup. After being restored in 99 by a previous owner, the truck has been garaged and only used on nice days. Being restored almost 17yrs ago, the truck still looks very fresh. There are a few minor blemishes in the paint, but these are very minor. The paint is very high quality and it shows. She look''''s excellent and performs excellent!
