1970 GMC Stepside LongBed Truck Engine 400 cu in Small Block -- 400 HP - Less than 500 miles (Just about broke in) Rebuilt the motor myself using a great machine shop, Had the engine setup by a local Speed shop. The distrinutor was recurved and the truck is a driver that is dependable. I use high test gas but it runs on regular. The Compression is 10: 1 with the 64cc Vortec Heads. Had the steam holes drilled in the heads because the 400 small block heads need these to allow better cooling.
