 Vehicle Description
Looks like car guys have discovered that its a lot of fun to play in the mud, too. Early 4x4s like this 1967 Ford Bronco are receiving high-quality restorations that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. Yet this truck is as carefully crafted as a pedigreed Mustang convertible of the same era, and probably more valuable to collectors today.

The reason Broncos are so highly prized is that they were used up and thrown away back in the day, making clean survivors exceedingly rare. Following a comprehensive restoration that takes a few liberties in search of more off-roading prowess, it looks the way Bronco fans always imagined their trucks should have looked from the factory. Of course, the vivid Burnt Orange Metallic paint wasnt available in 1967, but it looks so good on the angular Bronco sheetmetal that you can hardly fault a guy for picking it. The steel underneath is straight, which is critical because straight is the only shape on the whole Bronco body. The fenders have been clearance for oversized fender flares and theres a black stripe down the center of the hood just to make it look racy and new bumpers have been fitted at both ends.

The interior is far more traditional, wearing black bucket seats that look strikingly similar to those found in the Mustang. With spray-on bedliner material on the floor, its ready to play in the dirt without worrying about cleaning up later, and the no-frills atmosphere actually works quite well for a back-to-basics truck like this. The modern steering wheel is easy to grab and has a great industrial look that seems to work really well here, and fresh door panels help soften things up a bit so its actually comfortable enough to be driven every day. Three-on-the-tree shifting with a T-handle for the transfer case makes it easy to get familiar with the Bronco in very little time, and eve the AM radio still lives in the dash. Original instruments are in very good condition and with a freshly upholstered rear bench, you can bring a few buddies with you, well, anywhere. The hardtop is removable for a pure open-air experience but seals this truck up well enough that you never have to worry about inclement weather.

A sturdy 302 cubic inch V8 generates the kind of torque that makes this Bronco feel fast and agile, even on the trails. Highly detailed, it has a high-performance Ford look that will be familiar, and includes upgrades like an HEI ignition system, oversized radiator, and the serpentine belt setup from a late-model 5.0. The two-barrel carb lives under an Edelbrock air cleaner with a reproduction decal; it wont fool anyone into thinking its stock, but its a nice tip-of-the-hat to the original that inspired it. The chassis was also fully restored and theres more durable spray-on undercoating protecting the sheetmetal, a snarky dual exhaust system, and a SuperLift suspension setup that makes it ready to go rock climbing. Chrome Pacer wheels are flashy enough to keep up with the rest of the truck and wear oversized 33x12.50-15 off-road radials.

Very fresh, very clean, and very fun, this Bronco is only the latest in a long line of high-quality 4x4s that are hitting the market today. Dont get left behind, take a great one home. Call today!
