| Vehicle Description |
| 99% intact 1950 Studebaker 2-R5-12 half ton pickup with 1955 Studebaker 289 high performance engine. This truck was part of a collection of Studebakers and was stored indoors for the past 2 decades awaiting restoration or customizing. Motor will turn over and last ran in May of 2009. Truck appears to have automatic transmission with overdrive, presumably a 1955 Studebaker component as well. Truck is missing driveshaft although former owner may have it in his massive collection of parts. Truck needs glass and interior as well as mechanical restoration. Body is completely intact and very straight Go to http:www.oldcarmanualproject.com/brochures/Studebaker/1950/Truck/Index.htm to see images of the truck from original sales brochures. Truck is being stored indoors near northwest Houston, Texas and is being sold as is. Truck will need to be trailered or transported but will roll about. First $2500 cash takes it. No title available for this truck but will provide bill of sale and former owner name/address for additional parts. A very nice restorable Studebaker truck! Makes a terrific rod platform too. |
