I have a 1954 Chevy Step side pickup that is in the process of a off the body restoration. Both body and frame were in remarkable good condition to start with. The frame has been sandblasted and coated with Kilz Hammerrite. A new Mustang 2 air bag front end kit has been partially installed. The cab has been sandblasted on the outside and primmer has been applied but does need a couple of spots bondo. The inside of the cab does need the floor boards replaced and sandblasted. The doors, and fenders just need sandblasted only. Most all chrome is in good shape. The bed is in better than average shape and will require very little work except sandblasting and new wood bed. Both running boards are in good shape also.This truck started its life as a prop for Old Nave Clothing Stores and I believe it has never been licensed for the road. I do have the bill of sale from the last two people who owned it. I have been to the the D.M.V. and was told all that was needed was to bring the truck to them when finish and they would make a Vin.# and title for it.
