1973 Hi Top Chevy Camper Van Runs Good Good. 2 Seater. Good Overall Condition for its age, its not perfect. Good Tires,and spare. 8 cyl.350 something. Interior rear bed/seats kitchen, closet... that stuff all gone. Has propane and water tanks still in place of unknown condition. Not rusted thru anywhere but has lower edge surface rust. This era of trucks were hot dipped galvanized about 8" up from bottom. Finish is good and would shine nicely. Hi Top has some water leakage in back. Needs TLC. Has a new alternator and battery. Lots of space to stand in..6 ft. and carry stuff. Good for camping or Eye Catching Display-Advertising Prop. I just drove it 200 miles in the Adirondack mountains,up and down hills-it moves right along very smooth ride,steers easily,does not wander super great power steering, actually turns in a small radius for its size. Has bad linoleum on floor need sheathing over that but could be used as is.Worn out material under drive.Locks up with the key all around.No radio,no antennae, good heater no AC. 180K miles on original engine.Does not burn oil.Good brakes good radiator.Passenger side door needs linkage work can be closed correctly with jiggling the latch mechanism when holding thumb on handle button.Then you slam it shut and it stays closed.takes a little practice.. Door windows roll up and down. Small Triangle windows work but not easily. Nice grill, all the lights work. Emergency brake need work and brakes work good but you might consider new shoes dont know the real condition of them.Probably a tune up would not hurt things.Windows all around are good. Decent wipers. Hi beam switch on floor. Actually has a Much more smoother comfortable ride than my 2000 Chevy Blazer very sad.Selling to fund the purchase of a Toyota Solara.
