Gertrude has been my daily driver for the past three years. If you are looking for a classic truck for daily driving then this truck needs nothing. If you are looking for a show truck, then this one needs some resto. It has been a very reliable daily driver for 3 years and during that time I've worked out all the mechanical bugs to make it reliable. Those are: rebuilt tranny (3000 miles ago), new starter, battery, alternator, completely rewired truck with an 18 circuit Painless Wiring kit, 4 new wheel cylinders, new rear air shocks, rebuilt driveshaft, 4 new tires (2000 miles ago), JVC CD head unit, Sony rear speakers, new turn signal bezels, new rear lenses and bezels, new brake lines, custom built tailgate, new plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air filter, fuel filter (1500 miles ago), new gas tank, mid 80's 350 chevy motor, autometer gauges and that's about it.
WILL CONSIDER TRADES FOR AN OLDER MODEL JAP. 4 BANGER!!!! (ie) civic, crx, corrolla, tercel, accord etc. |
