1967 Oldsmobile 442HistoryThe Oldsmobile 442 was a muscle car produced by the Oldsmobile division of General Motors. It was introduced as an option package for F85 and Cutlass models sold in the United States beginning with the 1964 model year. For 1967 the 442s styling and base engine remained the same. The 1967 442 package was based on the topline Cutlass Supreme series including the sport coupe with center post Holiday hardtop coupe and convertible. The heavyduty floormounted threespeed manual transmission was now standard and front disc brakes were a new option this year.
