A red 1963 Corvair Monza 900 convertible with black interior. Do you want a real eye catcher, one that is a pleasure to drive? "This is it"!

I have owned this car since May of 1994. The 6 cylinder, air-cooled, rear mounted engine runs exceptionally well. It starts on the first try about 90% of the time, the rest of the time; it starts on the second try. The rear air cooled engine is clean and looks great with its twin carburetors. The engine compartment is clean. The cars two speed automatic transmission works great and has its' shift lever on the dash.

This Monza has a red exterior. "Some people may want a new paint job to make the car sharper". But it looks pretty good to me, and I use my Corvair Monza as it is for fun.

It has a black vinyl top that is in good condition and a new red top boot. The new back convertible window is clear. The black interior is very nice. The front bucket seats are black and in good shape and are dressed up with nice chrome moldings. The back seat is in fine shape. Both front and back seats are as I call them "rolled & pleated". There are no rips, faded areas, or worn out stitching on the seats. The black carpet is faded, wrinkled and has some pulled strings, but I still use the carpet. The dash looks very nice. The radio works well. I believe the entire interior is original.

The trunk is in the front of the car. It is clean and has a lot of space. It has a scissor jack, handle, and a new fan belt in the trunk. Also included is a tan cloth car cover with a storage bag. There are two sets of black seat belts with automatic rollers for the front seats. Only the drivers seat belt has been installed. There are two shop manuals included.

I have recently installed all new main wiring harnesses (trunk, passengers' compartment, dash, engine compartment and the harness' that runs from dash to engine compartment).

The radial white wall tires have about 1,000 miles on them. Also included is an extra set of its original bias tires. Two shop manuals are also included.

This Corvair is not perfect, but it is a neat car from the past and you have got to love it.

If you are looking for a car that is fun to drive, will get a lot of compliments on the cars' styling and rear mounted engine, you will enjoy this one. This car will make you feel like you have one of the neatest cars around.
