1929 Ford Model A roadster. Original Colorado car owned by a mailman who drove this car over the continental divide to deliver the mail from Hotchkiss to Canon City, Colorado. One owner car driven from 29 to 49 when the mailman retired and put the car in storage. Was stored in the garage with the home canning and a jar of pickles fell on the fender which left a good dent. Pulled out of storage in 1962 when it went to Phoenix where it was driven only 4000 miles and then restored in 1964. This car has only 46,000 miles since new. This is the original green color and was repainted in laquer with black fenders. The mailman had brush painted the car black and was sanded down to the original color when the car was redone. New Lebaron-Bonney interior with new top also installed. Engine is original and untouched. Some of the bright work has been redone but much is still 1929 Ford issue. New side curtains, original tools, jack, grease gun and remainder of paint used in the restoration. This is an original car with some very interesting history.
