 Vehicle Description
Stk 1073 70 Olds 442

Sitting on BF Good Wrench TA Radials on 14 rally wheels with a 455 V8 this
1970 Oldsmobile 442 screams classic muscle car. From factory options included are the Fiberglass hood with dual intake air, close ratio 4 speed and 4 shift transmission, 391 posi-anti-spin rear axel, heavy duty radiator, super shock 2 wheels, AM/FM stereo, 8 track player, vinyl roof top covering, sports console, and rocket ralley pack. Originally purchased December of 1969 in Rome New York and later purchased and moved to Baytown Texas for the majority of its life until the current owner purchased a few years ago. When purchased by the current owner the actual miles on this car were only 49,000. This vehicle was restored frame with both rear quarter panels replaced and the radiator support was replaced. The original W-25 hood was not in very good condition and was almost completely rebuilt. A new vinyl top was added and the car was repainted the original factory color "Galleen Gold" with black accent stripes. The interior got new seat covers, carpet, and package tray. The trunk was re-plastered and painted to match original condition. The engine compartment was painted and the engine was painted the original blue color. The air cleaner was repainted and the foam was replaced. The chrome was in good condition over all; however, the bumpers and door handles were re-chromed and new mirrors were added. The remainder of the chrome was polished. The interior detailing included replacing the wood grain on the dash and window cranks. A new pad, gas tank and rear break lines. The engine retained the original exhaust system but modifications were made that included bigger exhaust pipes and flow master mufflers. This car under went a quality restoration that restored it almost back to factory specs but still leaves you with a feeling of being back in the 70s when you drive it. It is ready to hit the road and turn heads on your next cruise in, auto show, or Sunday drive. Call 800-650-1055 or visit www.autobarnclassiccars.com for additional pictures and information.
