Manufactured in March 1965 in Kansas City, MO, this GTO was delivered to the original owner at Petersons Garage and Auto Co. in Kerrville, TX. Finished in Montero red with a white parchment interior it was well equipped with a 335 HP 389 4 Barrel engine, Muncie 4 Speed transmission and Saf-T-Trak rear end. For added comfort it was optioned with factory air conditioning, deluxe simulated wood steering wheel, console, a push button radio, custom seat belts and even a vanity mirror. All of this equipment remains and still functions today. A factory Tri-Power set up has since been added raising horsepower to 360 and the fun factor exponentially. A complete frame off restoration was completed in 2010 and the car sounds and drives as new. The vehicle is well documented and comes with window sticker, delivery brochure, warranty card, Protecto-Plate, build sheet and ownership history.
