DESCRIPTION

IMMACULATE STUNNING HAS IT ALL

1930 Ford Model A 5-Window Coupe Hiboy, all Henry steel.

Rumble seat. Roll down rear window.

Tilt out windshield. 350 Chevy, turbo 350 tranny.

1940 Ford banjo rear end with open drive line and juice brakes. Old school knee action shocks. Dropped black Guide headlights,

1935 Ford wire wheels with 560 x 16 Firestones front and 750 x 16 Firestones rear. Original style mohair interior, completely finished including carpet and headliner.

Original steering wheel. Working cowl lights with yellow bulbs. Dual exhaust with 8 inch Cherry Bombs coming off ram''s horn headers. Uses the original cowl tank and original gauges. Speedo is not functional, but amazingly, the original gas gauge still works.

This car has nice paint, but not perfect (there are some spots of peeling paint along the hood hinge) but to me it looks and feels just right. Last Summer, I ran it without the hood and this also looks good because the firewall and block are painted black.

I think the car was restored at some point to be a perfect stock Model A. Maybe in the 80''s or 90''s. Then it got hot rodded later by someone else. But condition of the body is exceptional, and it has a repro LeBarron Bonney brown interior and the rumble seat is that brown heavy vinyl that they used in the factory.

Another thing is the stance -- the rear wheel aligns perfectly with the wheel well arch. The size of the Firestones on the 1935 wires is so right. This car, in my mind, just has the look.

Also -- stock-style unfilled top looks great. Stainless trim all looks great, too.

It just has every feature that makes a hot rod cool, while somehow managing to maintain all the Henry Ford features that make it feel quaint and historic. That''s really why I like it so much - it still feels like something Henry made.

Oh, and one more thing -- the doors close like a Mercedes Benz. Clunk. No rattle, just feels right.
