Stk. 1801 1940 Ford Deluxe
Everybody loves 1940 Fords it seems and even though youll find quite a few of them to be fiberglass bodied recreations, every now and then youll come across an original steel example like ours. Painted ten years ago in a very striking hue called Desert Rose, and accented with hand painted, Von Dutch inspired pinstripes of beige, purple and teal make for an appealing combination that still presents itself very well. All exterior chrome appears to be new and really tightens up look of this extraordinary paint scheme. Weld Racing billet aluminum wheels wrapped with 205/65/15s up front and 235/70/15s out back gives it just that right touch of aggressiveness without sacrificing ride quality. Underneath, an equally impressive display of custom touches with its Desert Rose underbody atop a massive box-style, steel frame coated in purple along with its Fatman front end, manual rack and pinion, rear leaf springs and eight inch Ford rear end. Motivating this classic in true hot-rod fashion is a mildly built 350 Chevy sporting an Edelbrock four barrel sitting squarely atop a polished intake with ceramic coated headers routing the spent gasses out full-length dual exhausts. Inside, youll find a comfortable and cozy environment for two. Adjustable bucket seats covered in mauve vinyl contrast nicely with the tweed multi-colored door panels and the Desert Rose metal dashboard carries the exterior finish of the car inside for a really custom touch. A brushed billet aluminum dash pod holds a full set of VDO gauges to inform you as does the billet clock built into the glove box door. Aftermarket air conditioning, power windows and an AM/FM/CD stereo make for great creature comforts and the fully finished trunk can accommodate quite a bit of luggage for that random escape from reality. So if its classic good looks with a bit of flair that youre after, then consider this a great find! Call 800-650-1055 or visit our website at www.autobarnclassiccars.com for more information.
