| Vehicle Description |
YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE with this car! 1957 CHEVY BelAir, NUMBERS MATCHING!! This is a Survivor. It has not been restored and does not need restoration unless YOU really want to do it. TREMENDOUSLY AWESOME SURVIVOR-TYPE CAR. This type of car is normally seen on the Barrett-Jackson-like classic car auctions. I am just not able to get it to one and I need to get my kids college tuition as I have too many family members in college this fall, and want to be comfortable after! Please help me out, while you get yourself one truly great classic car (actually I think this car just passed into "antique" status as far as age goes, but it does not look it. Look at the pictures. I have more pictures...Just ask.)
Just imagine looking through the original, green, EZEye Glass, sitting on the supple 50-year old original interior upholstery, and listening to the original AM tube radio! This definitely brings you back to the fifties! All you need is the poodle skirt and the leather jacket.
This car is ready to drive. Just crank and go.
It is drivable for everyday, but who would want to with this baby? Just use it for the car shows in the survivor class, if you want, and you will have fun turning heads and making friends! It is a truly great feeling when I am going down the street in it and everyone stops what they are doing to look at us! It is also one of those color combinations that people rarely see nowadays and it was not used very often originally either. This is a car that collectors would love to have. But, then again, I have seen many people in today's world using these collector cars for everyday and you could be one of them.
Original Build Sheet & Owners’ Manual, glass gas filter and the oil filter case. (In this model the oil filter did not screw on. It sits in a metal "case" and the case screws in. I have many extra of the filters to include in the deal.)
Has original OIL Air Filter, tri-horn, and Generator NOT alternator. (Yep, this is correct. The car is so correct and numbers matching that it has the original generator to help the power supply and the OIL air filter to help clean the air going into the engine. These are, yet, another set of reasons why it should be priced much higher than what it is.)
Less than 48,000 original miles showing on an odometer that is working as we drive it, 99% original including glass, upholstery, clock, tube radio, spare tire, jack, jack instructions, lights, etc. Great working car!
New/replaced: tires, tailpipe, muffler (wear items for this age). Added: Seatbelts (for safety's sake)
NOS: Radiator
Valves have been replaced, so it can run off unleaded gasoline directly. This way you do not have to put in any gas additive each time you fill up with gasoline. Costs a little less to run.
There is little rust and no rust through that we have been able to find.
Includes extra several oil filters and original 6 yards Chevy silver/black cloud upholstery -- this could be $$hundreds by itself!
YOU ALSO GET the ORIGINAL KEY with extra key and original gas cap. 2-speed powerglide transmission.
Has a 283 V-8 single 4 barrel Carb. It matches the VIN and the other numbers --as does the generator, carb, block and other parts.
It appears to be the Original Paint.
VIN: VC57K181632
Body Plate:
Style: 57-10190
Body No: K21485
Trim: 663
Paint 820D
There are MANY more photos available. Please feel free to email me and I can send you a flyer with them. Also feel free to ask me questions and I will do my best to answer them, as I know this is a serious purchase.
The extra upholstery is the same type as what it was built with, not the new-type bolt.
We are the third owners.
4-Door, Post BelAir sedan Runs Great!
We have the original build sheet and owner's manual, but they are somewhere in the house. We are looking for them right now. They will come with the car as soon as we find them. Usually more organized.
Clear title, but still a little owed to lender
Pls email Keith. Please truly SERIOUS buyers only! It might sound funny, but we would prefer to sell to the buyer who wants to keep for themselves. Also feel free to ask questions! This is one of the cars that we would like to know will be treasured by the next owner as much as we did!
But, please, do not contact me if you just want to "help me" put it on ebay, put it on consignment, or "teach me". |
