Body work to highest professional standards. All questionable sheet metal replaced; new wiring, glass, top and hydraulic system, upholstery, carpet, rebuilt rally instruments, all chrome replated.
Engine: Complete rebuild, internals painted with Glypial to assist in oil return; crankshaft (67 400 shaft) .010 under, mains cross drilled, bored .030 dished pistons installed dropping compression ratio to 9:35 to allow use of unleaded premium; distributor rebuilt and advance curve altered to regain lost horsepower due to dished pistons. New RAM air camshaft, bottom-end after-market crank scrapers and full-length windage trays and new 65 PSI oil pump installed, 67 Ram-Air cast exhaust manifolds. Carburetors completely rebuilt and modified to compensate for non-stock cam, alternator and starter rebuilt, new 4-core radiator, complete Garner reproduction exhaust with resonators and chrome exhaust tips and stainless muffler clips.
Heads: Stellite seats, bronze valve guides, crane roller tip rockets and hardened pushrods.
Frame: Axle housing and transmission cross members sandblasted to bare metal and powder coated semi-gloss black.
Suspension: Hotchkis Performance front tubular upper A-arms, adjustable tie rods, and 1.5 sway bar. 1978 Cadillac spindles with 12 disk brakes (all new components).
Transmission: Muncie 4-speed (close ratio M-21) rebuilt with all new bearings and seals.
Rear axle: 3.90 positraction (locker) completely rebuilt, new bearings and crush rings, and modified with 12 disk brakes (all new components). Hotchkis Performance boxed upper and lower trailing arms, 7/8 sway bar.
Wheels and tires: American Racing Torq-Thrust D Mags (16 x 8) with custom-made GTO center caps. Red-line front tires 215/60 R16; rear and spare tires 235/60 R16.
