For Sale 1950 Oldsmobile 98 Futuramic Deluxe 4 Door
Rocket 303 V8 Engine with 6 Volt system
Runs Great has minor issues
Original engine and interior, minor rust
Chrome stands out real head turner
White Wall Tires- Exact mileage unknown
Have owned this vehicle for last 7 years (previous owner CA resident drove rarely)
Original white paint
1 small dent/door ding on rear passenger door
interior decent some rips/tear
There is a cloudy spot on front windshield in the middle
Front seat -left side has tear/rips on top
Lights work, gauges work, blinkers do not work, wipers work but blades need to be changed, Radio does not work but I installed a new 12v radio with CD on the bottom of the dash (can be removed)
Transmission runs great, engine great , brakes are drums takes a heavy foot , Took exhaust out so its loud like a muscle car but left adapters on areas where I cut so that a small 3' piece of pipe can be easily put back ,shocks are old have a lot of movement like a boat if driving fast
The furthest I have driven is 100 miles, Car did fine! Car doesn't like it when its over 90 degrees in traffic.
Paint looks original some fading in some areas
Car has rust on the underside, bottom of doors and trunk
Chrome front bumper has crack from hood and dullness on bottom right side back bumper has moderate rust
Body is straight small dings not very noticeable
Car has a loose wire somewhere cause sometimes when trying to start just makes aloud clicking noise and then it will start the Carburetor must need a clean cause if you do not start it for a couple days it wants a spray of starting fluid , Car leaks a little oil
For the most part this car has minor issues the main thing is that when started its not super fast but runs strong and has a lot of power from its rocket v8 303 and when it changes gears its smooth and does not hesitiate
Beautiful fun driveable car hate to sell! Real head turner!
