| Extremely rare quality, this all steel Ford sedan was completely restored with no sheet metal added. No frame off was needed. This is a Purebred excellent 40 Sedan Deluxe with built flathead engine. Engine built by Richard Call, one of the best Ford builders in the SE, and balanced in Junior Johnson's Yadkinville shop. Beautiful original color maroon clear coat with "old new stock" chrome tail and headlamp housings, original re-chromed bumpers, bumper guards, rainbow bar, and bumper tips. 15 inch wheels with matching bands and Deluxe centers with wide whitewall radials. Stunning, originally restored interior with working spotlight, clock and Vintage air in a redefined 12 volt system. Under the hood rests the powerplant, a balanced, originally 100hp, 1947 flathead bored 3 3/8 with a four inch stroke, Mercury shaft and racing pistons by TRW. Offenhauser heads and intake, Isky 404 Jr. cam, Mallory distributor, headers, and a 55 haystack carburetor all generating 285/300hp of considerable exhilaration and sound when departing the Church parking lot. This classic 2 door package also includes a 934 geared rear axle, Walker radiator and extremely low miles since restoration for this quality, one of a kind heirloom.
