| This is a very rare and not well known Buick performance car, a limited production. Not many even exist today. Production figures are around 117 reported. This car has only 16,300 miles and is documented. Car still looks new and is in excellent original condition. A true investment grade vehicle, this black LeSabre Grand National is a rare gem. Around 1986, the Regal was replaced by the LeSabre in NASCAR racing. The Regal dominated the market in 1981 and 1982. When Chevrolet and Ford brought out the Monte Carlo SS and the new aerodynamic Thunderbird, Buick lost advantage in the market. In 1986, the LeSabre was downsized and was produced with FWD. It became the new racing body. Olds did pretty much the same thing by replacing the Cutlass with the Delta 88. Many people confuse the LGN with the 1986 Century Gran Sport which was a similar looking car based on the FWD Century. This is definitely a one of a kind car for the discriminating collector. Exterior is the original black paint and is in excellent condition. So is the gray interior. Very straight and in show condition, this car is fully loaded with AC, pw, ps, pb, and cruise. Engine is the original 3.8 Liter V6 with automatic transmission. Car is located in SC and resides in a private collection. |
