The Plymouth Satellite was an automobile introduced in 1965 as the top model in Plymouths mid-size Belvedere line. The Satellite remained the top of the line model until the 1967 model year. The Satellite was the top trim model and only available in 2 door hard top or convertible models. It was offered with bucket seats and console as standard equipment. The 2 door hardtop production was only 23,341 which explains the rarity of these cars today.
This is one of the nicest Satellites I have ever seen. Its laser straight body and show quality paint are the first things that catch the eye, the next is how exceptional the bright work and glass are. The interior is beautiful with seats and door panels being tan leather with tan carpet. The dash is original including the factory AM radio and is in pristine condition.
The engine compartment is very detailed and right in the middle of it sits one if the tightest, smoothest running 413 CI wedge engines you will ever hear, one of the Mopar fans favorite engines. The transmission is a 727 automatic and rear end is a 3.23 posi-traction. Brakes are drum on all corners and it has power steering. The tires are Uni-Royal Tiger Paws 245/60/15 all around and are on 5 spoke eagle alloy wheels.
Here is your chance to own one of the most popular Mopars at a reasonable price!
