This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Chicago showroom. Powered by a 350 CID V8 backed by a 4L60E 4spd tansmission this Chevy will go, but to stop it is a 4 wheel disc brake system. Modifications to the engine include electric exhaust cut-outs, 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust, new radiator, Hillbourn EFi, MSD Ignition, and Headman headers. This car also features a coilover suspension which lowered the car, the rear wheel wells are mini tubed, ladder bar,stainless steel fuel tank, stainless steel braided fuel lines, full car cover, HID headlights, Infinity speakers, and Hoosier tires with less than 2,000 miles on them ( 26x7.5 R15 front, 29x12.5 R15 rear). "The 1957 Chevrolet is a car which was introduced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in September, 1956. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range "two-ten", and the "one-fifty". A two-door station wagon, the Nomad was produced as a Bel Air model. An upscale trim option called the "Delray" was available for two-ten 2-door sedans. It is a popular and sought after classic car. These vehicles are often restored to their original condition and sometimes modified. The cars image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies and television. The 57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon.", said Hemmings.
