| Vehicle Description |
WOW.....this is a real gem! Up for sale is this 1966 CHEVY IMPALA SS with the original motor and tranny matching #s car. This beautiful Impala is owned and built by a well known car builder Richie Valles from Unique Twist in Burbank, CA. Richie is featured in this month's December issue of The Rodner's Journal #42. This 1966 Impala is featured in the magazine along with his fleet of cars that he has built. This car is also seen on Speed Channel's Living the Low Life with Vida Guerra.
The paint job on this '66 features stripe patterns, gold leaf, and metalflakes that sparkle making this one of Richie's most amazing works of art. The estimated value of this paint work is 25K. The headliner and interior on this SS is done in a 2-tone suede leather. An electical moonroof was installed during restoration making this a custom feature in a '66 Impala. This car has an amazing sound system that is powered by Alpine with 2 directed amps as seen in pics. The hydraulic components are from Pearl Hopper. The set up on this '66 uses high-pressure pumps, four-dumps square-bottoms and six batteries. The wheels on this Chevy are true Daytons with non radial tires giving that real vintage look and feel. This car has original 70K miles, motor and transmission were rebuilt during restoration. It has only been driven approx. 300 miles since.
This is a real show quality custom lowrider built with no corners cut and no expense spared! Please check out attached video on Youtube of Unique Twist Lowriders to see Richie Valles's interview and this car's hydraulic performance live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBT5hda29z4&feature=email
