For the 1940 standard Fords, the grill and hood were similar to 1939 deluxe models. The headlight shells were finished in body color, vertical grill bars painted, the dash and steering wheel were briarwood brown and instrument panel had a larger speedometer face. Both standard and deluxe models had vent windows. The 1940 coupe is a much sought after model; they featured extremely handsome styling by Eugene Gregorie. This beautiful coupe recently restored with rebuilt 85 horse flathead V8 engine, transmission, new lyon blue paint on excellent coupe body, new wiring, new glass and seals, new mohair interior, new wide whitewall tires with chrome trim rings.
