| Vehicle Description |
| Very nice and rare 1974 Volkswagen Sun Bug Convertible. The Sun Bug is a special edition of the Beetle. Some special features of the Sun Bugs include; beautiful gold metallic paint, stamped silver sports wheels, Kamei tunnel console, and wood finish dash panels were just some of the goodies that came with this special edition. The sales brochure (which is included with this bug) for the Sun Bug even had the words to a song written especially for the car entitled "Let a little sunshine into your life" by Keith Konnes. These were very limited edition cars, especially the convertibles. Options include; original 1600CC engine, original manual transmission, AM radio, and very nice original dark brown vinyl interior. The odometer is showing 69,781 miles, that is believed to be actual, but cannot document. New brake system, front windshield, new carpet, new top, new front end, and new speedometer cable. Complete rebuild of steering, wheel bearings and brakes. Engine compartment has new fire wall insulation, and the compartment has been repainted. Own a rare show winning Sun Bug Convertible! Please, call us at 618-271-3000 or 800-231-3616 for more details on this car. |
