HISTORY OF THE LA SALLE SERIES 52 SPECIAL COUPE:
This was the first year of the "torpedo" body style and the last year for LaSalle as a product of Cadillac. The Series 52 Torpedo was known for its outstanding body style, 45-degree sloped windshield, curved rear windows with no belt-line, and rounder and smoother body and trunk. It is powered by a 322ci L-head V8 engine with a column-shift three-speed manual gearbox.
