1967 Pontiac GTO. This great looking GTO is powered by a numbers matching 400 CID 335HP V-8 lurking under the hood hooked to a 3 speed automatic transmission with a Hurst dual gate shifter. The body is painted in Mariner Turqouis that will stand out in any crowd. The GTO also saw several mechanical changes in 1967 over previous years. The Tri-Power carburation system was replaced with a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. The 389 engine received a wider cylinder bore (4.12 inches, 104.7 mm) for a total displacement of 400 CID (6.5 L) V8. The 400 cubic inch engine was available in three models: economy, standard, and high output. The economy engine used a two-barrel carburetor rather than the Rochester Quadrajet and produced 255 hp at 4400 rpm, and 397 lbft at 4400 rpm. The standard engine produced 335 hp at 5000 rpm, and the highest torque of the three engines at 441 lbft at 3400 rpm. The high output engine produced the most power for that year at 360 hp at 5100 rpm, and produced 438 lbft at 3600 rpm. The interior is in great shape with black vinyl seats, energy absorbing steering column, His Hers shifter and console. The car rides on steel rims that are color matched with the body and hubcaps for that sleeper look. The motor has been rebuild and has had a mild cam added to get a beefier sound. Other options include Am radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and redline tires.
