| If you are looking for a brand new, need nothing Plymouth Coupe, you have found it. This 1946 Plymouth Club Coupe has less then 200 miles on the professional build and was just finished less then 6 months ago. Finished in a "Dove Grey" base coat / clear coat with burgundy pin striping, the car looks great with no imperfections to speak of. The motor is a brand new 350 GM crate motor that runs very strong. The paint on the car is nearly perfect with no major imperfections to speak of. Body panels are very straight and all door gaps are straight and tight. There has been a custom pin stripe added going around the car that sets off the car nicely. All the glass is good and new with new window channeling and weather stripping. The restoration was started on a very solid, original body that needed little to make it as smooth as it is now. The chrome and stainless are all nearly show quality and new. Inside, the seats have been recovered in Burgundy Ultra Vinyl and look great. The burgundy carpet is new as well as is the headliner and door panels. In the dash, there has been brand new Dolphin Gauges installed that all work with no problems. These are connected to a brand new wiring harness that goes throughout the entire car. All lights, blinkers, wipers and horn work with no problems. The wipers are electric, 2 speed. There has also been a tilt steering wheel installed. Under the hood, the car has a new GM 350 Cu In V8 Crate motor that runs great. The car has tons of power and is connected to a smooth shifting 3 speed automatic transmission. This all sits on top of a GM sub frame going back to a GM rear end. The car has had a new A/C condenser installed as well as a Walker radiator to keep the car cool in the hot summer months. The wheels and tires are also brand new with no curb rash or major wear. The underside of the car is clean and shows no rust. The car is very solid throughout and is sure not to disappoint. The current mileage shows 145 which is the miles since the build. When we purchased the car, it only showed 48 miles. We have put 100 miles on it with no problems or issues. On the road the ride is smooth and the car steers and brakes straight as an arrow. The VIN number is 11665938 and the car is being sold on a clean, Kansas title. |
