DESCRIPTION

I have a 1968 Mustang Coupe H/O That''s what the title says. It has the 289 c.u. with a high rise and a 600cfm 4 barrel( I was told it was a Numbers matching car, but I never pulled the starter to check the block. didn''t really matter to me, I Owned a mustang .lol)however all the other tags match with the VIN. It has the C4 Transmission . The entire car is restored, she is a show car(contoured). I still drive her at times. She has a beautiful and clean engine.( the pic will show),she has all new interior (black)with the Shelby look(sort of). I put ''65 rims on her because I didn''t care for any of the ''68. She has had 2 paint jobs, recently (1 1/2 years)and it is a awesome ''96-97 dodge viper 3 stage pearl.( a long name for fancy blue). She is manual steering and brakes, wanted to keep her somewhat original. No A/C. I replaced the rear gears with 355 gears, but still original axles. She drives great and straight. How ever( the dreaded bad news)..
What I am about to tell you absolutely does not affect her driving.
The biggest issue is that the front seal on the transmission does leak. Personally I would have rebuilt( around here it''s a little over $800.00 for complete rebuild) . I''m not sure how long it''s been since it has been gone through. I have owned her for almost 8 yrs. and the last 2 is when the transmission started leaking. But it has not hurt the shifting.
I also have a short somewhere in the electrical. It will drain your battery down, so I just undo the hot cable until I''m ready to ride. the interior lights have not been wired. The dash lights do work. She has won a few car shows, and has placed in many. She has been in the world of wheels in Chattanooga several times. The only reason I am selling her is because I don''t get to drive her as much as I would like. And I don''t like letting it sit there in the garage wasting away. That is the worst you can do for a classic like her. I would love to sell it to someone who will appreciate her and enjoy her has much as me, my wife and children have over the past several years. Please feel free to call , text or email me any questions at all and I''ll answer them the best I can. I do have her for sale locally as well. Thank you very much for looking at this car.
