| Vehicle Description |
This is a 1970 426 Hemi Cuda 4 speed (Clone) with a new Holly 850 4 barrel and 4:56 rear. I found this car 6 years ago . It was sitting in a barn in N. Carolina for 13 years. It appeared the previous owner wanted to race it, and died before he got the chance. (I bought it from his wife) There was only 75 miles on the car from the time it was titled in N. Carolina till I got it running and titled here in Texas
This is a Keith Black build 426 Hemi, appears the engine was build around 1989-1990. When I got the car it had a 2x4 barrel with a rat roaster intake setup. It was just too much to handle for the street. I swapped it out for a new Holly 850 4 barrel setup. It’s a lot more streetable now. (I will provide the old setup with the car)
I have replaced a lot of the parts already, front end kit, wiring harness, shocks, gas tank, etc, etc, etc.
As you can see by the pictures it looks good and it runs good.
I bought a business 5 years ago and have not done anything to it since. I still wanted to replace the interior carpet (still smells like the barn it was stored in for 13 years) and dashboard, rear springs but now the business sucks up my money and this incredible car sits in the garage.
Time for somebody to take it to the next level. |
