 Vehicle Description
Stk 1099 29 3 Window Coupe Street Rod

This is an all steel 29 Ford coupe body and the top has been chopped 2-1/2", doors lengthened 6" and flush mounted using hidden hinges. All handles were removed and replaced using electronic solenoids with mechanical overrides. Cloth insert in the top was replaced with a welded steel insert. Front windshield frame and visor was removed and the "A" pillar slanted back ½ with a new windshield jamb fabricated to accommodate a glue in type tinted windshield with rounded corners.

The cowl has been filled, all seams welded, and a custom three piece louvered and lengthened hood (4") installed. The grille shell is made from two 32 Ford top sections welded together and supported by the "King Bee" halogen headlights. A custom grille insert fabricated by Jim Wrench and custom lover front pan was added.

The rear has a custom rolled pan with frenched taillights and a hide-a-way license plate.

Interior has custom dash, milled aluminum gauge insert, and a double floor- steel underside and aluminum inside. The custom made upholstery us by Chuck Hanna, Mooresville, NC.

Paint is "House of Kolor "Passion Pearl Shimrin" Purple on fenders "Tangello Pearl" Orange on the body painted by Bob Gerdes and Jesse LeJeune from Circus Custom Paint, Farmingdale, New Jersey.

The Chassis includes a TCI frame custom modified with a lengthened wheel base (110"), Kugel front end and cross member. The differential is a 73 Jag XKE-3.42:1 posi with Aldan adjustable rear shocks and springs. The front springs and shocks are adjustable Kugel Komponents with Wilwood front brakes and 87 Vette brakes. The Master cylinder is an aluminum Ford with power booster and the steering box is a 80 Mustang power rack. The steering column is from a 72 Vette tilt/tele with LeCarra wheel. The cooling system is a Griffin aluminum radiator, aluminum fan- shroud by owner. The front stabilizing bar is by Kugel and the rear is a Snow White. Other Chassis modifications include custom exhaust hangers and system by owner, rear snubber mounts, additional gussets and brackets by owner. The plating by Specialty Plating in Fall River, Ma and Custom polishing by Gene Durham in Harrisburg Pa.

The interior is light tan leather seats and panels and imported short cut wool carpets. The instruments are by Classic Instruments mounted to an aluminum panel. The wiring began with a Ron Francis kit and modified and wired by Carman Anastasio with owners assistance. All panels, headliner, etc have been custom made for this vehicle.

The transmission is a73 Chevy turbo 350 with diveshaft by Roccos in E. Patchogue, New York. The converter is a B M Holeshot with a stall speed of 2000 to 2500 RPMs.

The engine block is from a 73 Chevy 4 bolt 383 with pistons, rings, and bearings by TRW. The rods are a reconditioned Chevy 400 and the cam shaft is a Crane. The heads are a Chevy with 2.02 1.65 valves and Sanderson headers with custom exhaust by owner. The engine color is "House Of Kolor Passion Pearl Purple and 2 fuel pumps by Belkamp Electrical and Holly Mechanical that feeds into two fuel delivery systems with Fram filter feed Four Dellorto carborators. A custom built 28 gallon stainless steel fuel tank was installed. All the lines are Russell braided and the serpentine drive pulleys and brackets are polished aluminum. The valve covers, oil pan, air cleaner, are plated aluminum and custom plated radiator water tubes made by the owner.
