1969 brought another major restyling to the Mustang by increasing its length almost 4 inches while retaining the 108" wheelbase of the original 64's. New features for 69 included quad headlights, front parking lights were now located behind the front valance panel, new quarter panel ornaments, side scoops, front seat back locks and the VIN number was attached to the instrument panel so it would be visible through the windshield. This particular example was restored in 2004 and has been driven less than 100 miles since. It retains its date code correct 220hp 302ci V-8 that is believed to be original to the car. It also retains its original Ivy Gold interior and was repainted in its original color of Black Jade. It was well optioned with power steering, power brakes, a power top, a glass rear window, a remote control left side exterior mirror, wheel covers, a push button AM radio, a Select Shift C4 automatic tranny and a limited slip rear differential with a 2.79:1 gear ratio which is perfect for cruising. During its restoration the trunk pan was replaced, the engine and tranny were both rebuilt and the car was stripped before being repainted. The front drum brakes were upgraded with disc brakes but we will include the original brakes should you want to make it original again. All of the chrome shows great. In fact, the only thing the exterior could use would be some fresh paint on the rims and a center cap for one of the wheel covers. The restoration was quite extensive but there are a few small things that could be done such as replacing the dash pad, minor alignments on the windows and hood and you should also know that there are two cracks in the steering wheel and the windshield has scratches in it. With less than a $1,000 investment this beauty would be perfect and would be classified as a solid # 2 car which has a current NADA value of $30,965. We are serious about getting this car sold and priced it as a # 3 car to get this done quickly. If you like what you see you better call before its too late!
