72 Mercury Cougar XR7, All factory stock Original \"ARIZONA CAR\". 351 Cleveland engine was rebuilt in 2010, by professional engine builder in Grand Rapids using all new parts. Engine now has 2,350 miles on it. Over all the body of this car has 115000 miles.Car has been garage kept never driven in the snow. No rust, body is nice, paint with mirror like finish. Floors are solid with no rust finders and quarter panels are straight no dents no rust. For 41 years old this car is in really good condition.
Replaced parts 2010 is as follows.
Brakes, rear drums and shoes, wheel cylinders, brake hardware. Front rotors calipers and pads.
New wheel bearings.
Shocks front and back.
new power steering box with hoses with new pitman arm.
New inter and outer tie rods both sides, new idler arm new upper ball joints.
New Sway Bar pins.
new water pump and fuel pump and fuel sending unit.
New Radiator hoses and belts. Thermostat.
New transmission flush, filter and fluid (11 qts)
New door glass window felt both sides, back glass rubber and felt both sides. 2011
New heater core 2012,
New alternator and battery 2013.
New dual exhaust and mufflers 2013.
New 2100 Motorcraft 2 barrel Carburetor July 2014 new distributor July 2014 with all new ignition components.
Gold/chrome wheels.
Have all receipt of parts in car.
There is no air conditioning unit in the car, it was gone when I got the car. The front bucket seats do need recovering.
Very solid great running car lots invested All the work is done, just get in and cruse. Just have no one to enjoy it with any more. Very fun to drive. Lots of power Nice paint. Have 4 stock wheels and hub caps with the Cougar emblem that go with the car. Also have Repair Manuals and The 1972 5 Volume Car Shop manual on CD disk.
