1963 Thunderbird Monaco Edition. Quite a rare car as only 2000 of the "Princess Grace" Landau hardtops were built. The Monaco Edition Thunderbird has a code 83 white leather upholstry exclusive to to the 63 1/2 Limited Edition landau introduced in Monaco. This package also included Corinthian White exterior finish and Rose beige roof in deep grained vinyl. Interior has White and Rose Beige accents and White leather seating. These cars were debuted on February 7, 1963 in the Principality of Monaco and Princess Grace of Monaco was given car number one. This model was then dubbed the "Princess Grace" model by Ford. This car is number 325 of the 2000 built and it is estimated only approximately 200 of these Monaco editions still exist today. This is originally a California car so the body is in excellent condition and the car has had one repaint. The car just turned 70,030 miles and the 390 V8 and automatic transmission operate very well. I believe that if you take this to a car show you will probably be the only one like it in attendance. VIN is 3Y87Z137818 and included with the car is a large amount of collector literature concerning the Monaco Edition.
