| Vehicle Description |
This rust free 1970 Chevy El Camino is being offered as a builder sale.
We have acquired this project incomplete. However, much of the basics are already in place to build an excellent and show quality El Camino.
An excellent preparation and paint job will bring this El Camino up to show quality. We are currently painting this El Camino black. We believe it gives this car the best look that most classic car owners would appreciate. Following that, the interior appointments and upholstery will be completed to complement the color.
Running gear will consist of a 350/5.7 GM crate motor. We have a low mileage engine and tranny that we know is sound and will install. A 10 bolt or 12 bolt posi-traction rear end will complete the running gear along with a new exhaust system.
Included will be new fuel and brake lines along with air conditioning.
Frame and suspension system are powder coated black. There has been significant preservation of this El Camino as it has no rust. Only one minor area of sheet metal repair was necessary. This El Camino is exceptionally straight. Feel free to come out and inspect.
We will sell the El Camino when complete. Based on an agreement on the remaining preparations and modifications, we anticipate you can complete this turn key drive away for about $26-28K. If not sold as is or as agreed to in progress, we will be offering this El Camino for sale when completed at Del Mar Good Guys. The opportunity to tailor this El Camino to your desires is increased the earlier you complete the purchase. Once at Good Guys, it's likely to sell there.
This project should be completed in a very short time frame. Please contact us to see if this could be your new ride.
