I have a 1962 4 door white 144 in good condition.
There is a small dent in rear quarter where a couple coconuts fell from a tree. You can't see it in the picture but up close you can see it. The car is a good survivor. It was repainted more than 15 years ago there are some chips here and there and under the hood was not painted. Interior seats are really good . No rust through on car. Mirror on passengers side needs to be replaced. The original glass tube a.m. radio works sometimes. The Vacuum windshield wipers are strong.
Carpet in the front is in bad shape the floor is rust free. This is a manual three speed ( three on the tree) . This is a great surviving Falcon and would be a great car for someone if they wanted to restore for show.
I kept the car in Florida to use on vacations for 9 years and I drove the car from Florida to California last spring with absolutely no problems. The car was not built for the high speeds of todays highways but on state roads and back roads it will stay a nice 65.
Valve job with hardened seats done 4 thousand miles ago. Car was kept up.
The car does not burn oil. Battery a year old, Leaf Springs new and new shocks all the way around. Car has a Petronix ii ignition.
The odometer turned 100,000 the day i arrived Palm Springs.
I use the car when visiting Palm Springs every couple months . I have it in storage. I kept the car up and did the work myself. I will be in Palm Springs in April. The car runs and starts fine. there are a few little things that need to be fixed and it has nothing to do with the running of the car.
This car will go anywhere as long as your not expecting 80 mph driving. Top end on this car brand new was in road and track and put at 78 mph. I got 26.5 miles per gallon driving cross country. I used 99 gallons of gas from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Palm Springs California with some side trips in the middle I have owned the car for 10 years and the previous owner in tulsa had the car in his family before I got it for almost 40 years.
$6500.00 The outside color is white and interior bench seats are turquoise
email falconebayer@yahoo.com and I can send more pictures a few little blemish on the seat that might have been made by the car lighter .
I prefer local pickup. I might be willing to drive the car anyplace to drop off after payment but if buyer decides to ship ,buyer would be responsible for dealing with the shipper.
