Vehicle Description Rare 1958 Buick Special with Synchromesh 3-speed transmission. Only 1.5 % had this transmission produced that year. This car is completely original. Garage kept its entire life has no faded upholstery or sun damage. NO rust!! Owned originally until 1987 and sold with 48,251 miles on odometer. Papers to prove first and second owner sold. Second owner sold 2012 with 51,546 miles on odometer. Currently there are 51,900 original miles. Paint is also original. Current owner (3rd) has had new upper and lower ball joints replaced and new idler arm. Also oil and filter changed as well as fuel filter and transmission fluid. Brakes have been cleaned, adjusted, and front end has been aligned. Two new wheel cylinders also. This car drives and shifts easily . Speedometer works as well as headlights etc. This car is a time capsule to the 1950's when life was simpler. I am selling to make room for new project. Battery has been replaced.
